It has not even been a month and we are on our 3rd fundraiser. It all started with my oldest and coffee for the orchestra. It was not a bad deal, each pack of coffee made a pot and it was “gourmet” coffee so you know everyone bought it. At a buck who could resist?
Then it was Lani’s turn. Just a catalog of random Christmas cards and wrapping paper, you know the drill. Then, two days ago I pick Lani up from daycare and there stapled to her lunchbox. You guessed it another fundraiser, this time cookie dough. I tell you what dough I need and it is not cookie. Of course everytime they bring this stuff home you have to buy something and my dough is going faster than the cookie dough.
Anyone else have issues with this? Why do they just do fundraisers at Christmas and why do they do them back to back to back? How does this make sense? My oldest just told me she will be bringing home another one. I think I am going to lose my mind. Now I just bring them to work and put them on the table in the kitchen and if someone wants something they will let me know, I am tired of sending out emails.
