My husband sent it to me so I can look at what not to do.  Some of the things listed are very obvious but some I would have never thought of.  Like, Lack of patience.  I know alot of blogs get started and then they just stop.  You find their blogs out there and they have not been updated in 2 years.  I just thought that maybe that person got busy with real life or something.  Not true, people get into this and think that they will instantly get hundreds even thousands of hits a day and that is the case at all.  I remember when my blog got hit for the first time.  I was so excited and even now I look at the numbers and wonder how high it is going to go.  I blog because it is fun and if you don’t see it that way you will lose patience and quit. 

Also make sure your read reasons 21, 22, 30 and 36.  There are so many avenues you can take to get more traffic to your blog.  I think the one that has helped me the most is joining forums.  You can meet some really nice people on there and they are more than willing to help you out with link exchanges and such.  You can also ask them to take a look at your blog to give you hints on what looks good and what maybe needs some work. 

 So to all of those bloggers out there thinking you are going to make a quick buck, this is your wake up call.  Blogging takes time, lots and lots of time, so you better like what you are blogging about or it will get old really fast.  Happy blogging to all and to all a good post.  Man, I am so ready for the holidays.

The Wiggles DVD titled Getting Strong was released yesterday.  This is the first DVD release without Greg Page the yellow Wiggle.  Greg has had to step down as the lead for the Wiggles due to health reasons.  The Wiggles all started 16 years ago as a class project for Greg Page, Anthony Field and Murray Cook.

When it was decided that Greg could not longer go on it was not a hard decision for the rest of the Wiggles to keep going.  Sam Moran, a dancer for the Wiggles, will be wearing the yellow shirt from now on.  We are going to miss Greg terribly but we are very happy the Wiggles will continue to entertain our children.

We just had our first casualty of the lay offs.  One of our typist.  I can not believe this is going on.  There are a few more people that would be at the top of my list to let go and Cheryl Ann is not one of them.  She always comes to work, she is always on time and she is a very pleasant person.  I wonder what goes through “upper management” heads when they make these decisions. 

I thought we might have someone go but I really was not expecting it if you know what I mean.  I definitely would not have thought that it would have been Cheryl Ann.

Two men tresspassed onto an ostrich farm and when they scared the flightless bird, the bird attached, kicking the two men.  When the girlfriends that were occupting them begin to laugh pride took over.  The two men came back with a rifle and a shot gun and after atleast seven shots were fired the ostrich was dead.

For once our justice system has come through for Gaylord the ostrich.  Timothy McKevitt, 19, is free on bail but must return to jail on November 3 to serve his 5 month sentence.  Jonathon Porter, 21, plead no contest and was sentence to 7 months in jail. 

I just don’t know about some people.  Why in the world would you try to have the longest leg hair?  I guess because he can?  I was fine until I read that when he gets the world record he is going to “pluck it” and hang it next to the certificate.  (rolls eyes)  I think my stomach turned.
