Advents Corner

We have been trying to find a way to get rid of our small entertainment center. The doors on the front of it have glass in them and we are always so afraid Lani will put her hand through them or worst her head, so we have been searching for a solution. I believe I have found it. I found these audio racks that you mount on the wall instead of having an entertainment center in the living room. You just mount them on the wall out of reach of the little one and voila no more worrying about tiny hands. Then we have plenty of time to worry about something else. As is the life of a parent.

I am so excited tomorrow we get to go bowling.  I love bowling.  I have to say I am not very good at it but I sure do enjoy it.  We are meeting Matty’s business partners for dinner and bowling.  Michaela is going to stay with Lani so it will be grown up time tomorrow.  Hooray!  Since Matty was in Arizona for the beginning of the week it seems like we have not spent anytime together this week.

When we went to Hawaii we spent a week on the island of Kauai. We were very fortunate to be able to get a condo right on the beach and the time before that we got a beach house on the North Shore on Oahu. Ok now I have started a category just for recalls.  This is getting so crazy.  JCPenny is recalling  90,000 toys because of excessive lead in the paint, big surprise there. I will give you one guess where they came from CHINA. What in God’s name are they doing over there? The toys that are affected are the Winnie The Pooh 23 piece play set bought between August 2005 and August 2007, decorative ornaments and art kits.

In addition Riddell, Inc. has recalled Jeff Gordon NASCAR helmets, Kipp Brothers has recalled dinosaur toys and Cracker Barrel has recalled a magnetic art kit.

Please look at the list and determine if your have any of these and take them from you child immediately.
