I know you have thought about it, I have too. Russian women dating American men, why do they do it? What makes our guys so special that they seek them out? What is it? Green card or maybe a sugar daddy? I was surprised to find out that they seek out American men because they feel Russian men are not good providers. They see American men as hard workers and family driven men.

I was also surprised to find out that women who find the love of their lives in America have a divorce rate of only 6%. So I guess the goal of a Russian woman is to live the American dream.

I wanted to share with everyone this every well written article by Craig Franklin, a journalist in Jena, Louisiana dispelling media myths about the Jena 6.  As I have said before I am from Louisiana and I used to live in a little town called Olla just a few miles from Jena.  While I believe prejudice still does run rampant in a lot of the southern states I also believe the media puts their own spin on events to sell papers and make the evening news.  There are always two sides to every story and hopefully through research and perseverance you will find both sides.
