My brother just called and it is a BOY!!!! We are so happy. My brother is the only boy so we needed him to have a little boy to carry the name on. This will be my first time being an Aunty. Thanks to Jon Stewart I was once again cracking up when I should been trying to be quite while rocking Lani. This guy and his show just cracks me up. This is my thought, I know just about every in America has either watched or heard about the “interviews” that the Daily Show conducts yet you still see people on there that agree to do interviews then they are shocked by what they are asked in them. How the hell do they do that? Does the Daily Show lie and tell them they are someone else? I just don’t get it and I really don’t care. I guess the world is full of idiots but hey makes for a great laugh. This one just was a side splittter. I thought I was going to choke to death because I was trying so hard not to laugh and Lani was just looking at me like I was crazy. We are looking for new home lighting for the common bathroom. The lighting is very dim in there right now. I have no clue how old the light fixture is that is in there now. We have a lot of family coming in for Christmas and we want everything to be perfect. Lighting Showplace allows us to shop by room and by finish, that way I don’t have to look through all of the gold finishes when we know we want silver.
Another recall, but this time is it too late? Last night the government decided they would recall packages of “Ugly Teeth” right before Halloween. I wonder how many people had these teeth and gave them to their children. This time this was something that was designed to put in your mouth and it contained 100 times the amount of allowable lead.
When is all of this going to stop. I can tell you this though, I will be buying one of those lead detection kits and testing any toy Lani gets for Christmas this year. It really makes you want to go through and test every toy your child has in the toy box. We trust these people to protect our kids but it is becoming more evident that it is solely up to us to make sure our children are safe. Please look at the recall and make sure you do know have any of these around the house.
