These discount dental plans really surprised me.First off the price was a shocker to me.I get dental insurance through my employer and I pay more per year than this insurance.How about $149.95 for the whole family for a year, I pay double that for my insurance.Then I thought there has to be some sort of catch because this is not insurance it is only a discount program so mine must be better.
I am not so sure about that.The discounted fee offered to the members are the same or less than what I get with my insurance.Another thing, you don’t have to wait a year to have major work done.With most insurance you have to pay your premiums for a year before you can have major work like root canals and such.Not with this plan, you are covered the next business day.Do you have a dentist that you want to keep?Look up your dentist to see if they are on this plan before you even sign up.You can even compare plan features side by side to make sure you are getting exactly what you need and you are getting your monies worth.
The Golden Compass is a new movie set to come out December 7th with big name stars like Nicole Kidman and Sam Elliot. The reason I am telling you about this movie is because it is the first book in a trilogy and there are already plans in the works to produce the second and third book. If your children are like mine they are going to want to read the book and the other two in the series. This is where my warning comes in….the third book ends with the children killing God. Yes, you read that correctly, they kill God. Now we all have the right to see and read whatever we want but we must educate ourselves on the things that our children are watching and reading just like everything else. When it comes to this movie and the books please be familar your with them before just handing them over to your child. I not will presume to tell you that you should or should not let your child see the movie because that is your decision I just want to make sure you have the facts in order to make a wise decision. Just in case you are not convinced this is true look at the Snopes article on it. And so you are what movie I am talking about I have included the trailer for the film.
I am a stickler when it comes perfumes; I tend to stick with something that I like.My favorites are Vanilla Fields and Warm Vanilla Sugar.I tend to spray Warm Vanilla Sugar on almost everyday but Vanilla Fields for some reason I save for special occasions.I don’t know why one is not any more expensive than the other but they make me feel different if that makes any sense.Perfumes make nice Christmas gifts but you have to be careful when buying a new perfume for someone, just because you like it does not mean they will.
Today is Mom Campos’ birthday so we wanted to take a moment to just say how much we love her and miss her. We are so happy you like your walking poles and we hope the weather is good and you get to use them soon. We can’t wait to see you guys for Christmas.
We need to get more little girls interested in the field of science.Math Tutors are a good way to do that.You child does not have to be having trouble in school for them to go to a tutor.Going to a tutor builds on the skills they are learning in school in a one on one setting.Lani will be going to extra school instruction when she begins school.We need to get them to enjoy learning when they are young so that it carries them through their high school years.
Michaela got a job, well a second job. She does the children’s parties dressing as the characters but yesterday Firehouse the sub place called and offered her a job. Her first day is tomorrow so tonight we have to go find her some black pants. She is really excited. She just says that is one step closer to her car. She has a child party on Thursday, she is going to be Belle from Beauty and Beast. This is what Michaela calls “making bank” We have a car for her already but the deal is she must be able to pay insurance in order for us to give it to her. We figure we are “giving” her a car the least she could do was pay the insurance. Right?
