Margaret Truman has passed away at the age of 83 after a short illness.  Margaret Truman was the only child of former president Harry S. Truman.  She was a mystery writer who penned books such as Murder at the Opera and non-fiction works which included Letters From Father: The Truman Family’s Personal Correspondence.  Margaret was once quoted saying, “The only thing I ever missed about the White House was having a car and driver.”

I am sure she will be greatly missed.  God bless her family.
