We are still looking for people to contribute the Our Precious Gift site.  Please pop over and check it out.  We need everyone’s help on this to get it going.  Our local news station has shown interest in doing a piece on it so hopefully we will get the word out about it faster.  I have also starting emailing the site to some military blogs; hopefully we will get some responses from them real soon.

Democrats:  Obama, Edwards, Clinton

Republicans: Huckabee, Romney, Thompson/McCain

Next stop, New Hampshire!

Their primary is on Thursday and the predictions going in are as follows: Clinton and Obama are tied for the Democrats and Romney and McCain ore in a close race the Republicans.I know is it hard to really get into this now but the mud slinging is about to start for real.  We have heard little jabs here and there but nothing like it is about to be.  The gloves are coming off, so to speak.  What is a caucus?  Do you need a refresher course?  Don’t feel bad a lot a people are not really sure what the fuss is all about.  The caucuses tend to be dead on about whom the next nominees are so now is the time to start watching all of these candidates.

So Matt’s company as released the choices for the company trip this summer and there seems to be a clear winner.  The only thing is if we don’t find someone to watch Lani for us there is not way we will all be able to go, it is just too much flying for her.  We would fly to LA for a couple of days then Hawaii for a couple then Singapore for a few then finish the trip up with a flight to Bangkok for several days then home.

How amazing would that be?  But with all of that flying I don’t think it would be fair to Lani.  We have a lot to think about.

Interest is growing over the new website Our Precious Gift. A few blogs have picked it up thanks to the kind people over at PayU2blog.  I am hoping this really takes off.  It would be so nice to see how many people will send in stories.  If it takes off well we will put up a forum for them to us so maybe we will be able to reunite some people.  Please take a moment to jump over and look at it.

Yesterday was such a lazy day, it was so sad.  Matt and I would just look at each other.  We miss everyone so much but soon we will see everyone again.  I am going to see my Mom later this month for my brother’s baby shower so that will be fun.

I have started a new site that I hope you take the time to visit.  I am attempting to create a data base for those who have received medals of distinction through their military career.  Stop by and read the stories or register your own.

Our Precious Gift is the freedom that we sometimes take for granted.

The house is so quite now.  Mom and Dad left at 4 am this morning to catch their plane back to paradise.  Lani woke up this morning looking around for everyone but no one was here.  The house is so quite, Mom is not in the kitchen milling around and I do not hear the golf channel being blasted from the tv in the living room.  We are very happy that they are talking about moving back to Florida but we just want everyone to be happy.  They waited so long to move back to Hawaii we don’t want them to get here and regret moving back.  We know Lani is the driving force behind them wanting to move back, who can blame them but we just want everyone to be happy.
