I took a quiz to see how much blogging ruled my life and I was surprised.  With NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month) going on this month I thought my number would have been much higher.  I fell like I am blogging my fingers to the bone for NaBloPoMo but we only have 1 day left so it is almost over and I have done it.  I have blogged everyday for the entire month of November.  Horray for me.  I am very proud of the fact that I accepted the challangen and completed it.

Matt and I spend our honeymoon in Key West and we had a blast.  One of the things we did was the ghost tour and it was so much fun.  You leave for the tour at dusk so by the time you get the really scary stuff it is really dark expect for the lantern carried by the guide telling the creepy stories.  Michaela was in tears by the time we left the last house on the tour which was Robert’s house.  It did not help her situation that most of the people in the tour were saying; do you see that in the window?  It was all too much for Michaela to bear.  It was so much fun; we hope to do it again someday.

I love to do those quizzes and put widgets and cool stuff on my pages. I was looking around for some cool Blog Stuff and I came across this site that has just what I was looking for. Everything from cool blog stickers (the equivalent to bumper stickers) to quizzes to see if you are a geek or how much energy your body produces. I know you have always wondered, would you survive a zombie apocalypse? You better stick with me because I have a 40% chance of survival, on the other hand maybe you should take the test and get back to me, and maybe I will be hanging out with you. Workbenches can be a life saver and a space saver.  I have a work bench for all of my sewing material and the added space comes in handy for those big projects.  Matt and I have to sometimes share the same space so having the ability to quickly store away projects that are being worked on so that new projects can be started is priceless.  With all of the storage space under the bench we are still able to keep a neat appearance through all of chaos.

Letters From Santa are a great pass time at Christmas.  They help parents keep the belief in Santa alive.  My daughters are 17, 13 and 16 months and I have rule:  Santa does not bring gifts to children that do not believe in Santa.  My two oldest will still tell you that they believe in Santa and that is the way I want it to stay.  Christmas is such a magical time in a child’s life and I think we should do everything we can to keep that little part of innocence for as long as possible. 

I was looking around for Christmas cards and it is getting harder and harder to find good quality cards these days.  I want a card with a beautiful picture and a heart felt verse inside, why do I have to choose one over the other?  Gallery Collection not only meets my needs for a personal Christmas card but they also have Corporate Christmas Cards as well.  They did not forget out the little person, nor did they forget about our soldiers during this special time of the year.  They have teamed up with Soldier’s Angels and donated a card to every soldier that tells them thank you for all that they do.  They also supplied them with a blank card and envelope so that they could write home to their loved ones.

Serendipity 3, a restaurant in Manhattan that introduced the most expensive dessert according to the Guinness Book of World records was shut down due to an infestation of roaches and mice.  The restaurant failed two consecutive health inspections and was forced to close its doors.  What makes this dessert so expensive you ask?  It comes with an 18-karat gold bracelet, 1-caret of diamonds at the base of the goblet, edible gold flakes and truffles that sell for $2,600 per pound.  This just goes to show you that just because you pay and arm and a leg for something does not mean it is better than Baskin Robbins.

Wouldn’t it be nice to be surrounded by beautiful flowers for your Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner but think fresh flowers by the bunch are out of your budget?  When you buy wholesale flowers you get to buy them straight from the growers at a discount price.  You can not get flowers fresher than these unless you grow them yourself and what a wonderful treat for all of your guest to have fresh flowers at the dinner table.

I hope you are as excited about Christmas as I am.  I know we have not made it to Thanksgiving yet but I wanted to put up some Christmas coloring pages to get a jump start on the holiday spirit.   I am already reading Lani Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and pointing out Santa for her.  I can’t wait.  So anyway enjoy the coloring sheets.

I know death is not something we want to think about but it is the natural evolution of life. I have spoken to my Mom and my husband about my wishes but for some people it is too much to think about. Do you wonder sometimes where people get there work ethic?  I know we do not all work the same but I thought that some things were just common sense but I guess that is my stupidity.  Here is a list of things I think would be common sense for people but I guess if someone had to make a list it is obviously not common sense for us all. 

I just received this new software called Frame My Photos. There were a lot of disc involved so I thought it was going to be a pain to install but to my surprise it was not. Just simple point and click then it was installed. It took a few minutes to install but there is a status bar so you know you are accomplishing something.

I think one of the coolest things about this software is you can look at your picture in the frames and scroll through them so you see how your picture looks in it or you can browse all of the frames at once and just chose the one you like. Also you move your picture up and down or side to side while it is on the card so no more guessing about margins.

Say you made a really cool frame you want to get custom photo gifts, just upload your saved frame on their site and you have it. They make it and send it to you. If you printer is like mine printing a few pictures on it is no problem but printing the amount of Christmas cards I need is a job too big for it. Save your frame on a flash drive or disk and take it down to the store and get copies.  Check out the card I made.  I think this will be our Christmas card.

Finally some good things are starting to come out of New Orleans. Thomas McCauley was in New Orleans for a convention when he won $8,000 at a casino. He placed all of the cash winnings in a spare wallet that he carries in case his pockets are picked. While at a restaurant the wallet fell out of his pocket in the booth that he and a friend were sitting in. When McCauley realized the wallet was gone he figured his pockets had been picked but rushed back the restaurant to make sure he did not drop it. The waiter, Al Castro, returned the wallet and refused a reward. The general manager of the restaurant said hat Castro would be taken care of. Finally some good news coming out of New Orleans for a change.

Ok you have twins that are born one girl one boy. The boy was born first then the girl, but who is older? According to the clock the girl, thanks to daylight savings time. They were born 34 minutes apart but the birth certificate will read that the girl is 26 minutes older than her brother. I have never thought of this before but I guess it does happen. You know these two will be arguing about this for the rest of their lives. I feel bad for Mom and Dad.

This video is crazy.  It is in Japanese so I have not idea what they are saying but the little girl is 3 and she solves the cube in 114 seconds.  I could not believe this.  You have to watch how fast her little fingers move and she does it.  I wonder how they figured out that she could do it, was it just laying on the table and she walked up to it and solved it?

Thanks to Jon Stewart I was once again cracking up when I should been trying to be quite while rocking Lani.  This guy and his show just cracks me up.  This is my thought, I know just about every in America has either watched or heard about the “interviews” that the Daily Show conducts yet you still see people on there that agree to do interviews then they are shocked by what they are asked in them.  How the hell do they do that?  Does the Daily Show lie and tell them they are someone else?  I just don’t get it and I really don’t care.  I guess the world is full of idiots but hey makes for a great laugh.  This one just was a side splittter.  I thought I was going to choke to death because I was trying so hard not to laugh and Lani was just looking at me like I was crazy.  Please enjoy this and if you don’t know what a FLILF is, you will when the clip is over.  THANKS AGAIN JON STEWART FOR MAKING MY DAY!!!!

If your neighborhood is like mine you have a couple of kids that always get carried away with the Halloween pranks.  I found some helpful tips on how to minimize your chances of getting pranked this season.  The number rule on this and frankly is common sense just be nice to people.  You can get more flies with honey than with vinegar, as my Mom says.  Have fun and give good treats.  Just think back when you were a kid.

I thought this would be fun or maybe it will throw you into a panic knowing how much longer it is to Halloween. I know most of your parties are tomorrow night as are ours but you have to be reminded to get the candy for all of those little trick or treaters. Which reminds me I need to go get the rest of the stuff for my costume. Crap
